Joshua Wise earned his Associate of Science degree in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2016, graduating with the highest honors. He went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy with a concentration in Rehabilitation at Florida International University.
He is certified in Corrective Exercise Prescription through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and in Applied Functional Science through the Gray Institute. That clinical background keeps his work in physical medicine and rehabilitation: assessing how a person actually moves, prescribing the corrective exercise that changes it, and progressing the load as capacity comes back.
From 2013 to 2017 Joshua was a successful competitive powerlifter. In 2013 he earned the American Powerlifting Federation Raw National Champion title in the 198 lb weight class. Competing at that level gave him a precise understanding of exercise mechanics, biomechanics and posture, and those are the insights he now applies with people at every activity level, from weekend warriors to professional athletes.
Outside his professional work, Joshua spends time with his wife, son and daughter, and attends church together as a family. His faith and family life remain central to his values.
